Vintage: 18 months

Grapes varieties:
Macabeu, Xarel·lo, Parellada.

Vinification:
Our grapes hand-hardvested, whole-cluster pressed and  fermented at low temperatures, this results in excellent base wines which are subsequentely blended as required. Tirage and bottle ageing for as long as it takes to harmonize the varietal characteristics with the resulting flavours coming from bottle fermentation being carried out in our Vilobì cellars.

Tasting Notes:  
Gilded yellow colour, dry fruits aromas with fruity notes at bottom , with toast bread and bakery hues. Fresh and elegant bouquet. Fine and integrated bubble.

Serving suggestions:
Served at 6-8ºC.Suitable for all occasions, but specially recommended with aperitifs, shellfish, and starters of all sorts-or indeed on its own.

Macabeu, Xarel·lo, Parellada.

Vinification:
Our grapes hand-hardvested, whole-cluster pressed and  fermented at low temperatures, this results in excellent base wines which are subsequentely blended as required. Tirage and bottle ageing for as long as it takes to harmonize the varietal characteristics with the resulting flavours coming from bottle fermentation being carried out in our Vilobì cellars.
The closage aplied has no sugar whatsoever, making this is an authentic, bone-dry Brut Nature.

Tasting Notes:  
Gilded yellow colour, dry fruits aromas with fruity notes at bottom , with toast bread and bakery hues. Fresh and elegant bouquet. Fine and integrated bubble.

Serving suggestions:
Served at 6-8ºC.Suitable for all occasions, but specially recommended with aperitifs, shellfish, and starters of all sorts-or indeed on its own.

Vinification:
Our grapes hand-hardvested, whole-cluster pressed and  fermented at low temperatures, this results in excellent base wines which are subsequentely blended as required. The tirage, followed by bottle ageing on less fora t least four years, is carried out in our Vilobì cellars.

Tasting Notes:
Yellow glided colour, fine aroma, well setting in bottle, dry fruits, honey and leaven combined with florals reminiscences. Equilibred and elegant bouquet. Dry mouhtfilling with almond and  creamy post-taste . Fine and persistent bubble.

Serving sugestions:
Served at 6-8ºC. Suitable for all occasions, but particulary good with full-flavoured dishes.

 

RESERVA ESPECIAL DE l’AVI PLANAS

The style:
Reserva de l’ Avi represents the recognition of Planas Albareda  beginnings and continuity through the expression of a Gran Reserva cava from each vintage.

Grape varieties:
Macabeu, Xarel·lo and Chardonnay.

Vinification:
Our grapes hand-hardvested, whole-cluster pressed and  fermented at low temperatures, this results in excellent base wines which are subsequentely blended as required. The tirage, followed by bottle ageing on less fora t least four years, is carried out in our Vilobì cellars.

Tasting Notes:
Glided yellow colour and brightness of his ageing. Mouthfilling of ripe fruits, honey and with the complexity of a cava of 36 months aged. Structured and elegant bubble.
Artisan display and limited production at 3000 bottles.

Serving suggestions:
Served at 6-8ºC. Suitable for truly special occasions, either on its own or with fine cuisine.
